CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard) studwork timber, 3x2 (38 x 63mm) and 4x2 (38 x 89mm), with rounded edges and a planed finish. The standard section for internal stud partition walls — eased edges mean no sharp corners under plasterboard, and the consistent, accurate sizing (unlike sawn structural timber) is what makes stud spacing come out even. Untreated, since it's an internal product that isn't going to see damp or ground contact; keep it dry until it's in the wall.
