Sets hard in around ten minutes and reaches a usable strength within the hour, which is what makes it the standard choice for fencing rather than a full concrete mix: you're not waiting days to hang a gate or test a run. Reckon on one to two bags per post depending on hole size and post thickness, more in soft ground or for anything taller than a standard 6ft panel.
